The IAEM Scholarship Commission is seeking candidates to fill 11 positions on the commission beginning Jan. 1, 2027. Seven positions are three-year terms in the Class of 2029, one is a two-year position in the Class of 2028, and three positions are standard one-year terms to be included in the Class of 2027.
Members of the commission are selected to fill specific seats based on representation. However, any interested IAEM member is encouraged to apply, as we are seeking alternates to represent each category within the Commission to fill seats should they become available mid-term. Review the Chart of Commissioner Categories with definitions to learn more about each seat.
Candidates are being sought for the following positions with terms beginning Jan. 1, 2027.
Class of 2029, serving Jan. 1, 2027 - Dec. 31, 2029
Class of 2028, serving from Jan. 1, 2027 - Dec. 31, 2028
Class of 2027, serving from Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2027
The Scholarship seeks members who are devoted to the Scholarship Program's mission to nurture, promote, and develop disaster preparedness and resilience by furthering the education of students studying emergency management, disaster management, or a related field.
